As technology has advanced into more portable forms such as tablet PCs and Smart phones, a new condition has been named as ‘text neck’ which is back/neck pain caused by constantly looking down at tablet computers, phones, mp3 players and other devices. Many health problems have been linked to technology such as repetitive strain injury and ‘text thumb’ which all involve the muscles being strained too much.
